That nice looking board in the first photo is now a little further along the process to becoming a guitar neck.  It' shown here mounted in a support jig and rough carved to shape.

It's final shape will be refined more when I get Tony here for his input.  The two lines down the middle are made up of black veneer and a one eighth inch strip of the same maple as the rest of the neck
